The trend that’s replaced the cold-shoulder top this year

Say it isn’t so.

If there’s one trend everyone got in on last year, it was the cold-shoulder top.

Although everyone was wearing it in spring summer, it carried into autumn winter and sale season has included some spectacular bargains of the cold-shoulder variety.

Anyway, although I’m not about to throw my cold-shouldered garments out anytime soon, fashion is always changing and this season, it’s all about the bell sleeve.

It’s SO seventies and effortlessly cool, throw on a cream or white top with some faded denim and you’re working THE trend to be seen in at the moment.

Of course, the bell sleeve is coming to prominence on Instagram as you can see from the below posts.

These should give you some inspiration as to how to style your own bell sleeve look.

It’s a pretty versatile trend too as you can keep it simple opting for a muted tone or experiment with fabrics, patterns and texture.
