And the results are in…

We are delighted to announce that Pamela Uba is the winner of Her Best Dressed at the Galway Races.

Wearing a Phoenix V jumpsuit and a hat from Laura Hanlon millinery, the medical scientist’s statement look was the clear winner.

Pamela, who hails from Renmore, opted for a Guess clutch bag, Carraig Donn accessories and shoes from No.8 Galway.

Her jumpsuit was complemented beautifully by her blush pink headpiece and can we take a minute for the waterfall effect of this Irish made design?

An impeccable outfit deserves an incredible prize and Pamela goes home with an Emirates Holidays trip to the Seychelles including flights, transfers and accommodation worth over €2,500, and a whopping €3,000 in spending money.

That’s not all either for Pamela also receives a custom-made dress from renowned Irish designer Niall Tyrrell with the value of this piece estimated at €1,500.

As Her Best Dressed winner, Pamela will be treated to a private styling session with Niall where they will come up with her dream dress.

Best Hat winner, Eileen Lundon, wins a luxury stay in The Lodge at Ashford Castle worth over €1,500 which includes two nights’ accommodation in a Lakeview suite.

Eileen also receives a dress from Dublin-based designer Natalie B Coleman, priced at €175, whose pieces feature statement logos, bright colours and fun prints.

Eileen’s hat is by Caithriona King Millinery and the beautiful pink and gold headpiece was declared the winning hat thanks to the gorgeous summer-inspired shades and unique design.

The trio of Her Best Dressed judges, broadcaster Síle Seoige, author and nutritionist Rosanna Davison and Her’s Gillian Fitzpatrick were wowed by today’s fashion and deliberating over the much-coveted number one spot was no easy task.

Ladies Day at the Galway Races is a huge event for the Irish style industry with homegrown milliners and designers showcasing their amazing talents.

It’s also a major day out and every year, people travel from across the country to attend what is a major highlight of the Irish social calendar.

Fashion fans anticipate Thursday of race week months in advance, evident from the beautiful ensembles spotted this afternoon.

Her is the title sponsor of this year’s Best Dressed Competition marking the beginning of a three-year deal.

Although Ladies Day is widely regarded as the biggest day of the Galway Races, it’s fair to say that all roads lead to City of the Tribes with the weekend festivities not to be missed.

2019 marks 150 years of the popular week-long event and Ballybrit is absolutely buzzing. Huge congrats to today’s winners!
