Lets hope this is the start of lots of designer collaborations!
It’s good news for the menfolk today with the announcement that Robbie Williams’ clothing brand Farrell is coming to Penneys.
Primark is set to collaborate with Robbie’s brand Farrell for a 30-piece collection, inspired by the singer’s grandfather Jack Farrell.
The collaboration “draws upon Jack Farrell’s strong values, timeless style and alluring personality”. According to the company, Jack’s life as a Stoke-on-Trent gentleman is reflected in clean, tailored lines and British heritage design.
Influenced and worn by Robbie himself, the capsule collection is built on statement pieces that define a wardrobe rather than fill it out.
Men, and ladies shopping for men this Christmas, will find button down polo shirts, double-breasted pea coats, smart tweed jackets, slim leg tailored jeans, trench coats and Oxford shirts.
Speaking about the collection, Ben Smith, Director of Menswear, Primark said: ‘’We’ve absolutely loved working with the Farrell brand. The product looks superb, is great value and has remained true to its origin. Not only have we ensured that the product is amazing but the whole concept from quality through to design and store environment has played a massive part in ensuring we deliver a first class exclusive range to our customer.”
Adding to that Robbie Williams, CEO and Founder of Farrell said: “I’m delighted that Farrell has been invited into Primark. What a great collaboration. Let’s have it!”
Farrell for Primark launches today and will be available to buy from stores across Europe. On these shores you’ll find the collection in Penneys landmark Mary St. store in the capital.
