Summer Bay resident Evie MacGuire is set for a new love interest in the wake of her break up with Josh Barrett.
The teenager is attracted to new character Tank, who has a reputation as a “bad boy” and her family become alarmed as she starts to spend all her time with him.
Things get complicated when Tank starts to flirt with Maddy Osborne but Evie is convinced that she can persuade him to commit to her.

However, there’s another twist to the plot when it’s revealed that Tank has a link to another Summer Bay resident.
Speaking about the storyline, Philippa Northeast, who plays Evie said: “She has never been with someone who brings her out of her shell the way Tank does.
“She has always played it pretty safe. And while she does think he is a little bit dangerous, she is also attracted to that.”
