Fashion fans – listen up! There’s an exciting event on the way to designer Mecca Kildare Village.

‘In the Fold’ is an exclusive exhibition taking place at Kildare Village from Thursday, 30th April that will showcase the work of the most exciting and emerging young irish fashion design talent.

Kildare Village has partnered with Irish Design 2015 to present the installation, which explores how young Irish graduates use fashion as a creative response to their environment.

Curated by Gemma A Williams and under the direction of Fashion & Textiles Advisor Aisling Farinella, ‘In The Fold’, was launched at London Fashion Week earlier this year.

This is the first time that the exhibition, which will showcase the work of designers Rory Parnell Mooney, Michael Stewart, Caoimhe Mac Naoise, Richard Malone, Jocelyn Murray Boyne, Oliver Duncan and Laura Kinsella has been showcased in Ireland.

Guests at Kildare Village will have the unique opportunity to peruse the work of these innovative young designers and attend a series of fashion and design focused events. The series of events, scheduled to take place each week, will allow guests and design aficionados meet with the designers and engage with them around each unique area of expertise.
