This bride solved the dilemma of what to do with the dress after the big day

Would you do this?

A wedding day involves a lot of preparation and money, so it is no surprise that some couples get a little bit sad after it’s all over in one day.

One of the biggest issues women face is knowing that they will only get to wear their expensive, beautiful wedding dress once in a lifetime.

While some people pass them onto their daughters, and some people sell them on, it is rare that a bride can say that she got to wear it again.

Two years ago when dating coach Samantha Burns got married, she faced the same dilemma about never wearing her beautiful dress again once her big day was over.

This is why she decided to wear her dress every year on their anniversary, no matter what sort of day that had planned.

On their first anniversary, Samantha posted a picture of herself wearing the dress, with a swimming ring over it.

On their second anniversary, went on a date in Boston, and sticking to her rule, she wore her wedding dress.

Samantha posted a video herself in her dress on the golf course.

She explained her decision on Instagram:

“I told my husband that as long as I can still fit into my dress (fitness motivation ?),

I’ll be wearing it each year on our anniversary and doing fun things in it that we enjoy as a couple!

Last year it was golf, pancakes, and a candy shop in Cape Cod…this year we are currently in an Uber off to a surprise date in Boston! ????”

She posted a photo of herself and her husband on a boat in Boston on their second anniversary.

Samantha posted a status to Facebook saying she is ‘blown away’ by all the attention her anniversary tradition has received and said that she has received loads of emails from other women who do the same but adds “of course the most meaningful point of all of this is to celebrate your love and marriage”.
