This €23 New Look midi skirt is the weekend bargain you deserve

Midi skirts have been really having a moment lately - which we're super happy about, for so many reasons.

They're stylish. They're super flattering. They're also a great alternative when we're absolutely sick to death of wearing tights. Which makes them the perfect piece during this time of year, really - especially given the kind of weather we've been having lately. We're loving this button-front midi from New Look - and at €22.99, it is the weekend bargain you definitely deserve. It comes in three different colours - black, olive and mustard - which means that it is a wardrobe staple that will see you through every time of year. OK, except for maybe if winter gets really, really really cold. Pair it with a slogan tee,  a biker jacket and a pair of trainers for a comfy (but stylish) weekend look. Or maybe with a comfy knit, a camisole and a cute pair of ankle boots for heading into the office - there are so many possibilities. Another midi-length piece that has caught our eye lately (also from New Look) is this pink ditsy print floral dress from New Look. At €44.99, it's a little pricier - but it's also one of those pieces we know we are going to be reaching for again and again once the weather heats up. The midi-length means it's not only super flattering, but also can work now if (like us) you're sick to death of wearing tights. While the retailer recommend pairing it with black boots to "toughen up" the look, we reckon it would be equally as perfect with a pair of trainers and a denim jacket for weekend brunch.
