Easter weekend is always a popular period for racing festivities and this year was no different with people heading along to Fairyhouse on Sunday. Unfortunately, heavy rain led to the cancellation of Monday's meeting at the popular Meath location. Racing season has only just kicked off too for there are regular meetings all over the country this summer including the biggest of all (I might be a little biased), the Galway races. The student race day at Leopardstown has been cancelled today owing to the desperate weather in the capital but we're still holding out the hope that summer will arrive at some point this year. With that in mind, I've had an eye out for suitable racing attire and one piece that caught my eye is this red jumpsuit from River Island. The red bow front cami frill strap jumpsuit is €50 and it's the perfect statement piece to provide the main focus of any ensemble. Add a wide-brimmed hat and some quirky accessories and you have the perfect race outfit with very little effort. The fact that it's only €50 yet it's a piece you can wear again and again is one reason to buy and red is the perfect colour for this time of year.
