This popular pattern will replace gingham in your autumn wardrobe

You might even have it already!

Although gingham was a seriously popular pattern for summer 2017, it’s all about to change as we head for autumn winter.

You couldn’t enter a high-street shop over the last couple of months without spying multiple gingham pieces in pastel tones but the print is getting an upgrade for the new season.

Instead of pretty detail and sweet sugary shades, AW 2017 is all about check, big and bold check that is.

Think black, red, beige, grey…and if you’ve been in your favorite shopping haunts lately or had a look online, you’ll see that check is the print to wear over the next couple of months.

If you’re wondering how to wear it, then a blazer is the easiest way to nail the look. It instantly dresses up your regular old jeans and a t-shirt and gives your LBD an edge too.

If you’re over blazers and would rather something a little different, checked culottes and trench coats are also trending right now.

Here are a few of our fave checked pieces on the high-street right now.
