This two-piece wedding look is different to anything you’ve seen before

two-piece wedding look

So different and so FAB.

Danielle Benton, a Sydney-based blogger is going viral thanks to her absolutely stunning wedding ensemble, a two-piece look.

I mean, there’s so much to talk about here – the tiny star sequinned motifs, the big sleeves, the sheer fabric, the unique square neckline.

According to Who What Wear, Danielle’s dress was designed by Anna Maurer, a designer and dressmaker with her own bespoke bridal couture company.

Danielle, who blogs at When Words Fail, asked Anna for something out of the ordinary and judging from these stunning photos, the designer definitely met those requirements.

Taking to Instagram, Anna described how Danielle wanted to veer away from the traditional for her special day.

“This brides brief was a little different to the norm: stars, two piece, Valentino inspired sleeves, pleating, texture….what fun!!!!! Together we came up with something pretty special!”

It’s extremely different and won’t be to everyone’s taste but we actually love it. The tulle skirt is princess-like but the sheer, cropped top keeps it edgy and modern.

Stunning. Danielle and Anna might have co-created a new bridal trend…

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lalor!!!! Gorgeous bride Danielle married her handsome beau Chris in a love filled spectacular on the weekend. Danielle wears a #custommade #weddingensemble of a #midriff baring #bodice in #textured #vintage nylon (from a 1950’s petticoat) and panels of pleated #tulle. The back is cut out in a diamond shape and edged in tiny #star #sequins and #swarvoski #crystals. The elbow length #puffsleeves and square neckline are edged in pleated tulle #ruffles. The #skirt is made of metres of tulle that we had #sunray #pleated and tiny little #knife #pleats with a #godet of #star #embroidered tulle forming the #train. It sat high on her waist with a fitted basque which came into points featuring panels of pleated tulle.
