The high street has gone Clueless crazy.

There can't be any film that's had an effect on this season's style like the 1996 movie about an air-headed but well-meaning heiress and her band of fashion-conscious friends has. Clueless earned a place in pop culture history for a couple of reasons - the quotes, its stellar cast (hiya, Paul Rudd) but especially the outfits. There were some seriously iconic ones but the best-loved has to be Cher's matching yellow tartan blazer and skirt. It established our heroine Cher as a total Betty from the word go and has become one of the most famous looks from a teen movie ever. Fast-forward to 2018 and our love affair with all things nineties shows no sign of slowing down. Check out this new-in skirt that takes direct inspiration from Cher herself. This denim number from Topshop wouldn't look out of place in Cher's (seriously enviable) virtual wardrobe and is a fab statement piece for autumn - wear with knits, t-shirts and pretty much whatever else you want. It's €44 and in store now. If you fancy picking up something similar for less, a much cheaper alternative has just landed in Penneys. It's not quite the same but for €6 you couldn't go far wrong.
