Trade Secrets – Sneak Peek Into A Stylish Wardrobe

We’ve all had that moment where you see someone on the street and think, “Oh, I love her bag/top/skirt.” Some can work up the courage to ask a stranger where they shop, but not all of us are that brave. This gave us an idea for a feature and we’re hoping to hunt down the country’s most stylish women to quiz them on their favourite fashion finds and style tips. Nadine Quinn, the L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2013 winner from Peter Mark’s Training Centre, is the latest lady on our style crush list. In her own words, here are Nadine's style essentials: My approach to fashion is one of pure love and devoted interest. I would describe my style as very classic. I’m particularly drawn to beautifully tailored pieces. Sophisticated with clever placement of quirky detail creating elements of intrigue, is how I would describe my sense of style. I’m tall in height with quite a boyish figure so I tend to pick pieces that work with my shape. I think of my outfits as the impression I make in my surroundings. Even before words, clothes in my opinion are a reflection of our inner selves. My ultimate style icon is Miroslava Duma, founder of Buro247, a fashion followers heaven. Watches are a big weakness for me, definitely my must-have accessory as I can’t leave my house without one. My two favourites are my Chanel (my greatest asset) and my Michael Kors limited addition, it's a mix of silver, yellow and rose gold so it matches everything. The most worn piece in my wardrobe is my TopShop leather biker jacket. It never lets me down and finishes off so many outfits when all else fails. The best buy for me this season was my Michael Kors studded cross body bag, it’s versatile, practical and can be worn day to night. I love understated yet strategic jewellery, so as not to overpower a well thought out outfit and I’m obsessed with the current Zara limited edition collection. This spring summer season, I’m hoping to splurge on a pair of Chanel espadrilles. I’m thinking of getting the black pair as they will be timeless in my wardrobe and great for work. If money was no option I would invest in a Louis Vuitton show girl bag, I have no words for this work of art!
