Fashion trends can be a little strange from time to time, but when they first emerge we swear we will never jump on that band wagon and have anything like that in our wardrobes. Of course, we do. Almost to the point that we feel really upset when they go back out of fashion so we hang on to some of them...
1. Glitter.
A teenage phase or do we all now own a little pot of glitter? Don't lie.
2. Leggings.
Oh, how we laughed when our mothers wore these. Or even the ski pants! But then they just seemed so practical... and then came the print leggings. They are here to stay.
3. Hairbands.
Gone are the days when our hairbands used to rise about two foot off our heads. Now, they are quirky and retro with some nice bows. Back to the 50's we go.
4. Leg Warmers.
Hello Fame revival!
5. Braces.
We SWORE we would never wear a skirt with braces. Why did we give in?
6. Waistcoats.
Unless they were office wear, then they were unacceptable. Now, they are worn with everything.
7. Neon
"I will never wear neon... Ooh look at this really cute top!"
8. Pointed shoes
I will not wear those, I will look like a witch! Oh well, if everyone else is wearing them!
9. White Stilettos
Just no to white in general... But wait, these look good!
10. Tie Dye
No, you haven't just joined a hippy commune, this is the latest trend.
11. Harem Trousers.
Mc Hammer say WHAT?!
12. Printed Trousers.
This is a little suspicious. Wait, I saw a girl wearing those with a black top and they looked nice.
13. Dungarees
Only for painting... And eventually wearing outside.
14. Crocs
We really thought nobody would ever give in to that one.
15. Hoop Earrings
Your mother sort of insisted you never wore these, but then Rihanna started wearing them a lot... And if Rihanna is wearing them...
16. Leather Trousers
Tom Jones called. He wants his pants back.
17. Onesies
Oh, how we laughed. Oh, how everyone bought one for Christmas.
18. Combats.
All Saints made army wear look cool. That is all.
19. Shoulder Pads.
I am NOT going back to the 80's. Wait, what do you mean they are sewn into the jacket. Oh, they actually look pretty good, don't they?
20. Thigh-High Boots
Look, if Julia Roberts can get away with those, anyone can. Right?
21. Skinny Jeans
It took a while, but soon everyone was on this particular band wagon.
22. Fringe.
Fringe. It catches in EVERYTHING.
23. Patches.
Mom, do not sew patches on to the sleeves of my jumper. Mom, please sew patches on to the sleeves of my jumper.
