Tesco is selling a twosome Christmas jumper to combat loneliness over the festive season

Funny, but also important.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year.

However, it can also be an incredibly lonely time of year for so many people.

Tesco has teamed up with the Campaign Against Living Miserably Living Miserably (CALM) to create a special twosome Christmas jumper to support those who may be lonely over the festive season.

The jumpers have two head holes and just one arm hole either side, are particularly aimed at men.

It is hoped that these jumpers will encourage men to give the gift of friendship this Christmas.

How nice is that?

The Christmas jumpers come in two different styles and cost just £18 each – which is very reasonable.

And in a remarkable turn of events, Tesco has vowed to give 100 per cent of the profits from the jumpers to the charity.

Simon Ginning, who is the CEO of CALM said:

“We’re delighted to continue CALM’s relationship with F&F at Tesco this festive period. Christmas is a fun, joyous time of year but we know it can be tough too.”

“That’s why we’re encouraging people to get together and look out for their mates, families and loved ones – whether that be checking in with a text, catching up with someone you haven’t seen for a while, or teaming up for a laugh in a festive two-headed jumper.”
