Be warned - the results are pretty scary.  Loads of handbags, loads of shoes, a fair few reliable pairs of jeans and dozens upon dozens of dresses and tops… And that’s just half of our wardrobe. While our wardrobe is full of firm favourites, stuff that we just don’t want to throw out and items that we will never wear but can’t give up because of the price tag, we’ve never really considered how much our wardrobe is worth. In fact, it’s been a subject we’ve chosen to ignore usually – and justify with fabulous cost-per-wear reassurances. Now though, River Island has invented the Wardrobe Calculator and it’s a little bit brilliant and a little bit brutal. Basically, the online tool helps you to figure out how much your wardrobe is worth, simply by entering how many of each item you have in your wardrobe (eg – 8 pairs of jeans) and whether they are designer or high street.
