Victoria Beckham Overwhelmed By Applause

It’s not often you see Victoria Beckham’s face move never mind seeing a flicker of a smile pass across it.

But today the woman who is known for displaying utter composure at all times actually seemed to find it hard to control her emotions as her collection took to the catwalk at New York Fashion Week.

Victoria was smiling as she came onto the stage after the show.

But it wasn’t the nerves that overwhelmed the star, it was the fact that her line received an incredible reception from a star-studded audience.

Tennis ace Maria Sharapova and Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine, were among those applauding the pop singer turned fashion designer.

Hubby David was also in attendance to support his other half who has won over a number of critics by producing top-quality designs over the last couple of years.

David looked dapper as he watched his wife work her magic.

Reports say the collection is full of pleats and lace with a black and white theme. Victoria herself was wearing a black mini-dress from her own label as she came on to the stage.

After the show she took to Twitter to express how she was feeling. “Relieved!!! Can’t believe it’s over. Thank you,” she wrote.
