You have to love when someone steps out of their fashion comfort zone.

Doireann Garrihy is known for her fun, sometimes tomboyish sense of style but has just proven that she can bring dramatic red carpet glam too. The presenter and influencer is all dolled up for tonight's VIP Style Awards and gave her 180,000 Instagram followers the first look at what she's wearing. "I dzid it. I wore a dress!" she captioned the photo, which shows her posing in a flowing, long-sleeved black gown. Doireann's tended to go for co-ords for big events in the past and often favours trousers over girly dresses so it's great to see her in something a little different. She's kept the rest of the look fairly simple, opting for loose curls, dark eyes and a nude lip; finishing it off with some classic black court heels. Older sister Aoibhin Garrihy has also shared what she's in for the night and it's equally as show-stopping. The actress is wearing a one-shoulder white top by Caterina Coyne featuring the most extra bow detail we've ever seen outside of Ru Paul's Drag Race with some sleek black trousers.
