Haute couture designer Zuhair Murad has given Barbie a high fashion makeover.
Red carpet favourite Murad has designed dresses for numerous celebrities including Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively.
A dress Blake wore to a 2012 film premiere inspired Barbie’s haute couture look.
“Blake epitomized iconic Hollywood style,” Murad told InStyle back in 2012 when Lively wore the design.
“The silhouette of the gown fit perfectly to her figure; the entire look calling to mind the effortless glamour of Rita Hayworth and Elizabeth Taylor.”
He recreated the dress for Barbie in the same nude shade with a dramatic geometric design.
