If you’ve been keeping up with the weather this week, you’ll know that we’re in for a big change.
We’ve been blessed with a relatively mild and dry winter up until now but that’s all set to turn as we get further into January.
Met Éireann is predicting a cold snap in the coming days, with frost on the ground and temperatures dropping to as low as -3 degrees.
We can also expect it to be wetter – Thursday’s winter sunshine is expected to give way to a rainy day on Friday and into the weekend.
We’ll be adjusting our wardrobes accordingly, bundling up and making sure we’re not stuck when a shower suddenly strikes.
