If you haven’t noticed already, we love Penneys.
It’s great. It’s been around for as long as we can remember and it’s been our go-to spot; whether it’s for underwear, mini toiletries to bring away on holiday, or a fab going-out top that we need ASAP because we’re going out in 20 minutes.
Basically, it’s the best place ever.
More and more Penneys/Primark shops have been opening up all over the globe in recent years, and the biggest one yet is going to open pretty soon.
Set to open in April, the chain’s 187th store will open in Birmingham in the UK and employ an impressive 1,000 people.
According to Birmingham Live, the new store will house a home wares section, a beauty range section, a nail and eyebrow bar, a barbers and three “unique and amazing dining experiences.”
Yep, dining experiences. In Penneys.
It will also have free WiFi all around the store, and various couches where people can stop and charge their phones.
A spokesperson for Primark told Birmingham Live: “We confirm plans to open our new flagship store in Birmingham, on 11th April, 2019.
“The store, Primark Birmingham High Street, will be our largest to date and 187 in the UK.
“It will feature the latest contemporary shop fit and an enhanced customer experience across 160,100 sq ft of retail space and five floors of fashion.
“The store will have the latest trends in womenswear, menswear and kidswear including footwear and accessories, as well as lingerie, beauty and homeware.
“In addition to amazing fashion at amazing prices, this store will have many new features. They will include Primark’s largest ever beauty studio for nails, make-up, hair, eyebrows and lashes, a barbers and three unique and amazing dining experiences.”
We want a trip over purely to experience this new and exciting Penneys.
