The love for Penneys is real.

At the moment I have about five things on my must-have list, thanks to the gorgeous spring summer stock in right now. Last year, it was revealed that the world's biggest Primark/Penneys store would open in Birmingham and the exact date has now been revealed. The store will open on 11 April and it's set to cover a whopping 160,000 sq ft in size. Imagine all the room this new location will have for pretty dresses, beauty bits, stunning shoes, cosy pyjamas, Pinterest-perfect interiors, Disney merchandise and all the bits and pieces we know and love Penneys for. While we adore shopping in Penneys at home, the thought of browsing the largest store in the world is almost too much to handle. Last year, Her reached out to the brand to find out the inside scoop and received the below statement.

"The new Primark in Birmingham will be the largest in the world, offering an even wider range of our amazing fashion at amazing prices, over five floors. We have a loyal customer base in Birmingham and are very excited to unveil the new store, which will be almost four times the size of our current city centre store".

The Primark Birmingham High Street will include access to free Wi-Fi and customer "recharge" seating areas which is sure to come as good news to weary shoppers (namely your other half who protests every time a shopping trip is mentioned). It sounds like a dreamy place to work too thanks to a ‘Recharge café’ with a fully equipped kitchen area for staff. The new store will have 900 employees with 430 people transferring from the current premises, recruitment for new staff is due to take place in August. We don't know about you but a gals trip to Birmingham might be on the cards...
