Zebra print is the go to style you need in your wardrobe this festival season

Ellen Fitzpatrick

You can’t miss this stand out trend.

Searching for that go-to outfit for this upcoming (finger’s crossed) festival season? Well, look no further because this latest trend is everything you need.

Zebra print might not be exactly what you think when you picture a festival in the middle of a field in Laois, but bare with us, we’ll convince you.

Sometimes when you’re heading to a festival, the most stand out looks are the most memorable, and this latest trend is exactly that.

And while zebra print bucket hats and flared trousers may seem overwhelming at first, they can we so easily styled in different ways that you’ll be wild for it in no time.

Y2k fashion is making is a statement in the fashion business once again, so why not pair some funky zebra print flares with a bright coloured asymmetric crop top to really make the stripes pop.

If you’re not quite ready for that yet and want to keep it a bit more calm, but still want that Y2k look, opt for a neutral coloured cut out or tie top to keep it casual while still giving emphasis on the pants.

Bucket hats are huge for festivals and can create such a simple statement, so why not kill two birds with one stone here and get a zebra print one? This at the perfect piece of zebra to start out with, or an ideal addition to a wardrobe already fully of the print.

This hat can be styled quite literally with anything, funky colours, calm neutrals and even a mix of patterns. Go as adventurous as you want with this one.

We can’t go to any festival this summer or beyond without a place to carry all our bits, this is why a zebra print bag could be your best friend.

Keeping in with that Y2k style, mini bags have made such a big comeback and lucky for us, they come in every print imaginable.

Just like the bucket hat trend, this print bag can go with almost anything, and mini bags fit perfectly on your shoulder that you will be sure to never lose it.

Going all out at a festival with your style is half the fun of them. Dousing yourself head to toe with glitter and wearing the brightest colours possible is the only true way of getting in the spirit of things.

So why not incorporate this zebra trend here with a cute co ord look. Whether it be a skirt and top combo, some flare and matching bralette or even just an easy slip dress, with zebra print you won’t be long searching for something you will adore.
