Which phone do you own?

If you’re wondering who you can really trust, apparently you should look at the phone they use.

According to the research over 90% of phone users now have either Android or iPhone.

A new study, published in the journal Cyberpsychology, Behaviour, and Social Networking examined the difference between those who use each phone.

”Despite being very similar in functionality, current discourse and marketing campaigns suggest that key individual differences exist between users of these two devices.” The study said.

Researchers took 500 participants and had them answer questions about themselves and their attitudes to their smartphones at the University of Lincoln, Lancaster University, and the University of Hertfordshire.

The findings revealed that Android users were less interested in wealth and social status, and were more honest and agreeable.

”In comparison to Android users, we found that iPhone owners are more likely to be female, younger, and increasingly concerned about their smartphone being viewed as a status object. Key differences in personality were also observed with iPhone users displaying lower levels of Honesty–Humility and higher levels of emotionality.”

iPhones may have better Apps, updates and Emoji, but those who use Androids are basically better people.
