This is how you can create your Best Nine of 2017 on Instagram

Have you gotten yours?

‘Tis the season.

With New Year’s Eve having come and gone, plenty of people have been reflecting on the highs and lows of the last 12 months.

And social media is no exception.

Thousands of Instagram users have been sharing collages of their best nine photographs, looking back at their favourite memories of the last year.

The app recently launched its 2017 version of the ‘Best Nine’, the annual feature that they have run the last few years to help people mark the highlights of their year.

But the ability to create the collage of memories isn’t built into the photo sharing site, but rather the website 2017bestnine.com.

If you want to get your hands on your own collage, simply head to the website and put in your Instagram handle (provided your account is public).

After a few minutes, the site will generate the mini photo collage that will take you on a stroll down memory lane.

It could end up taking awhile, though – due to the popularity of the website, some people are being warned that it could take up until 10 minutes for people to get their collage.

The service also tells you how many photos you’ve published over the last year as well as how many likes you got in 2017.
