You can now get long distance touch bracelets to let your far away friend know you’re thinking of them

Or, you could just WhatsApp.

Whichever.

A friend moving away is a sad thing. As is a partner, but not as sad as a friend because romantic love is transient and friendship is forever.

Unfortunately for us here in Ireland, friends moving away is a common occurrence.

They go to Australia, they go to Canada, they go to Germany, England, and the States.

Basically, they go everywhere that’s not here, eventually only returning to settle down, get a mortgage, have a family, and never have fun with you ever again.

Until that time though, life goes on. Time passes, people stay in touch, or they don’t. Whatever.

A technological object that could help with all of that is this here pair of long distance touch bracelets – a gadget that eliminates the need to actually contact your friends who are abroad at all.

Why talk, when you could touch?

The Bond Touch bracelets are a couple of bands that allow you and your long distance pal the ability to let each other know you’re thinking of them when you’re on the go.

Paired by an app, the bracelet lets you send a little vibration of love to your friend (oi) at any time of the day, from anywhere in the world.

You can even send specific tap sequences and make yourselves a secret code – if you for some reason are eighty ears old and wanted that to be a thing.

One set of the Bond Touch bracelets are currently retailing at just over €87.00, which yeah, is expensive enough but if you want your mate to know you’re thinking of them what other choice do you possibly have?

Other than social media, of course.
