Condom company launches ‘baby blocker’ app that lets you hide baby photos from social media

How much do you like looking at other people’s babies?

Do you like it a lot? Do you like it a normal amount? Do you hate it with every fibre of your being and wish that all of the babies would simply disappear and be replaced by photos of other nice things like breakfast rolls and white wine?

If the latter pertains to you, get hyped because there’s a new Chrome extension that’ll allow you to block any and all photos of random babies from your timeline.

Created by contraceptive company Skyn, the Baby Blocker (get it?) app recognises pictures of infants, removes them for your social media, and replaces them with pictures of other things that aren’t babies.

Solid enough shout for those of us who don’t really care that your newborn completed his first level of Candy Crush, Susan.

The only issue is that the app appears to be very geared towards men.

Instead of photos of toddlers and babies doing bits, users will instead by treated to images of cars, football matches, or miscellaneous rocky landscapes.

Us gals can be sick of seeing children all over our social media too, lads. But we don’t exactly want to look at a few Ford Focuses either.

If you are into that sort of thing though, you can install the baby blocker app on the Google Chrome extension store here.
