Hybrid working is here to stay.

So how can you make sure you’ve got the appropriate set up for the future?

The past 18 months has seen next to all office employees working from home. But as restrictions continue to lift and back-to-office plans are rolled-out, it’s safe to say that for most people, flexibility will be key.

Hybrid working models that create the right balance between traditional workspaces and the comfort of home is the new expectation and will define the future of work. As employees navigate the new world of work over the coming months, creating the perfect environment away from the office will become key to maintaining productivity and flexibility.

The pandemic brought climate change into greater focus with people becoming more conscious about making sustainable choices, particularly within the home. Reusing and recycling have already become common practice for most households.

So, how can we achieve a home office space that ticks all the boxes in terms of productivity and flexibility, while also making sure we are doing our bit for the planet?

HP has revolutionised the concept of the home office, with its breakthrough cloud based smart printing ecosystem, HP+. The new offer has been designed with sustainability in mind, meeting the growing demands of the environmentally conscious consumer.

With HP+ smart printing, consumers can print from virtually anywhere at any time using the HP Smart App, and do so in a way that protects the planet. For every page that’s printed with a HP+ printer – regardless of paper brand – HP invests in the protection and restoration of forests by collaborating with credible environmental NGOs, like the Arbor Day Foundation, who are recognised experts in forest ecosystems.

Furthermore, with HP’s Instant Ink subscription service, ink and toner is automatically ordered straight to your door once the system detects low ink. Through the programme, consumers can return used ink and toner cartridges to the company via prepaid envelopes, which are then recycled to help create new cartridges.

Gone are the days of feeling guilty about wasting paper, or stressing about the amount of ink you’ll be using for that last minute business proposal or school project. Printing has modernised, and it’s time to get with the times.

Print from home, print from work, print from the supermarket while you do your shopping – even print from the school gates while you wait for the kids to finish their day. The sustainable future is here and now, it can all be in the palm of your hand.
