Instagram and WhatsApp are teaming up for a deadly new feature

Instagram and WhatsApp are probably two of our favourite apps at the moment, and if you're a fan of them too then you're going to be pretty excited about the latest development. Instagram is currently testing a new system where you'll be able to upload your Instagram Story onto WhatsApp. Tech Crunch is reporting that the story will appear as a 'WhatsApp Status' where your photos, videos and GIFs can be posted with encryption. It will also last only 24 hours. A spokesperson said: “We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you." The social media site, which is owned by Facebook, is currently testing the new feature on a small amount of users in hope that it will be rolled out globally this year.
