Nominations for this year’s Women in Tech Awards are now open

Time to celebrate yourself or someone you admire.

Anna O'Rourke

Are you a woman working in Ireland’s tech sector who deserves a little recognition?

Or know someone who should get the chance to shine?

Nominations are now open for this year’s Women In Tech Awards.

The event, of which Her is official media partner, celebrates inclusivity in what’s often seen as a male-dominated industry.

There are awards for specific areas like security, data science and blockchain, as well as gongs for stand-out professionals across the world of tech.

This year there’s an emphasis on diversity, not just gender, with the introduction of two new awards.

The Diversity Role Model Award will recognise a man or woman who is helping to create a culture that allows the best people to succeed, while the Diverse Company of the Year award will go to an organisation with a strong diversity and inclusion model.

There are also two special recognition awards on offer – the Women in Tech Initiative for a not-for-profit organisation and the Grace Hopper Award for a woman whose outstanding achievements have had a lasting impact.
