Fashion was at its zenith - we all wore Uggs, low-cut jeans and had only just discovered fake tan
Overall it was a pretty fun time to be a young girl, especially because it was when lots of us got our first phones.
For many girls, that first phone was the Motorola Razr.
That ultra-thin flip phone (in hot pink, obvs) was an absolute must-have back in the day and now it's set to make a comeback.
A patent has been filed for a new Razr, according to Dutch tech blog Mobielkopen.
This Razr will be a flip smartphone, according to the patent.
The Lenovo Group, which owns Motorola, has struck a deal with US mobile operator Verizon to launch the updated classic later this year, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Details about the phone are thin on the ground but it's reported that it'll set customers back $1,500 (around€1,315) for a handset.
For that price we might just stick with the iPhone, TBH.
