The Web Summit has confirmed that it will return to Dublin. They confirmed the news on Facebook and stated that they will be providing €1.5 million a year in free tickets to students from every school and college in Ireland to all their events globally.
They also noted the positive effects Brexit has had on Ireland and how many companies in the financial sector are relocating their offices to Dublin. This, in turn, has led to their decision to also relocate their other conference, MoneyConf, to Dublin.
One other more random point in their notice is that the return of The Web Summit to Ireland has nothing to do with Enda Kenny's departure.
They're holding a press conference on June 22nd to further explain their plans.
