WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature which will allow us to ‘unsend’ our messages… within a 5-minute timeframe that is.
So, we recommend you try and sober up rather quickly. Nonetheless, this will no doubt be much appreciated by users—we all make mistakes after all.

With the new ‘Recall’ feature – texts, GIF’s, images, videos, documents and status replies can be taken back and deleted. To avail of the super clever attribute, you’ll need to keep up with WhatsApp’s latest software updates.
Version 2.17.30 is currently available in the App Store, however, the feature will not be turned on until version 2.17.30+ is released.
We can assume Android users will be in much the same boat and will have to wait for an update after the current 2.17.190 build.
The Recall feature will be remotely enabled in 2.17.30+.
