You’ll get more Instagram engagement if you post your fire pics in the morning, allegedly

Jade Hayden

Instagram likes mean nothing anymore.

Nothing.

They can’t be seen. They hold no weight. They do not control us anymore.

That being said, I still – for some reason – have access to everybody’s like and comment counts on my own IG feed.

Have I simply not updated the app yet? Is my Instagram destined to be forever different from those before it? Am I, as I have always suspected, special?

We may never truly know the answer – but the one thing we do know is the perfect time to share your pics to get the most likes.

Nobody else’ll be able to see them.

But hey, you will.

According to Later.com, and as reported by Bustle, the best time to share your fire selfies, solo shots, and travel brags isn’t on the weekend, in the evening, or when the lad you fancy is bound to be online.

In fact, it’s in the morning between 9am and 11am.

Interesting, indeed.

Now, obviously, optimising your engagement comes with a lot of variables.

For instance, it won’t really matter when you post if you don’t have that many followers, if all your followers are in a different time zone, or if the content you’re sharing just isn’t that decent.

In that case, you’d want to be looking at a lot more than timings.

But hey, worth a try if you’re bored this morning.
