Now though, it appears as though Darragh won't need any handouts because he'll be making bank as an actual Chaser.
He announced the news on his own Twitter this week saying: "I'm really excited to be the 6th chaser on #TheChase.
"I've been working hard on this for a while now and can't wait for my episodes to air. Well the ones I win anyway."

He will be joining fellow Chasers and daytime TV icons Anne Hegarty, Mark Labbett, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Shaun Wallace.
Darragh's episodes of The Chase are due to air later this year.
