Viewers all notice the same thing when they search for House of Cards

Interesting.

As you'll no doubt be aware, entertainment company Netflix has completely severed its ties with Kevin Spacey, star of its critically-acclaimed and incredibly popular House of Cards show, amid a number of sex assault allegations against him.

Netflix said it would hold talks with the producers to see if production, which was suspended this week, could resume without Spacey. This may involve changes to the plot. They also confirmed Spacey's planned film about writer Gore Vidal would not go ahead.

But eagle-eyed subscribers have noticed something about the presence of the show on the streaming service. All the seasons and episodes thus far are still available to view, but whereas before the icons for the political thriller featured Spacey front and centre, he has disappeared.

Now it is Robin Wright, who stars as Claire Underwood and Spacey's screen wife, who is the sole star of the promotional images. A newbie to the drama would assume it is about a female President, rather than Frank.

Of course there is every chance the show will continue in that vein in a post-Spacey future.
