“Does anyone know Sue just south of Tetsworth, the other side of the M40?! #WhoIsSue"As the message spread across social media, there were plenty of conspiracy theories that followed. But the mystery was solved around 48 hours later - and as it turns out, the reason behind it was quite sweet. https://twitter.com/NPASBenson/status/926114976212881408 Murray Graham explained to BBC Radio Oxford that the giant lettering had been intended as an apology to his wife for being moody. He added:
“I’m not quite as grumpy and old as perhaps I make out occasionally. “As ever, everything has its ups and downs, so I thought I’d try and make a gesture at some point, and that was the one I chose.”He revealed that he had written the massive love note by spraying weedkiller across an area of weeds and grass, spelling out his wife's name. He initially their helicopter pilot son George to fly above the farm, taking a photo of the giant gesture - but didn't quite have the chance before going viral. He said:
“I had some leftover chemical, and I thought I’d give it a go and see if I could put a smile on her face."Image via Twitter/@NPASBenson
