This man is suing an airline for serving him prosecco instead of champagne

It's a bit much.

A man is suing an airline after he was given prosecco instead of champagne.

Daniel Macduff, has filed a lawsuit against Canadian company, Sunwing Airlines, after he bought a package holiday to Cuba.

The holiday included a 'complimentary onboard champagne toast', however he received prosecco instead of champers.

He also only received a beverage on the outgoing flight and not the returning one.

However, as his lawyer states, Daniel isn't suing them over simply not serving him bubbly, but instead "misleading marketing," which is fair.

His lawyer, Sébastien Paquette, told the BBC: “It's not about the pettiness of champagne versus sparkling wine.

“It's the consumer message behind it.”

The lawsuit further asks for financial compensation of the difference between the price of a glass of champagne and a glass of prosecco, as well as damages.

A bit much or fair enough?
