TikToker fakes a wedding photoshoot to get back at ex

Katy Brennan

We’ve seen it all now.

Whether it’s uploading a bomb selfie or sharing a few snaps of a fun night out, we’re all guilty trying to get a little win over our ex post break-up.

But this woman has taken it to the next level – by faking an entire wedding.

A TikToker known as @dieschaklin has revealed how she faked her own wedding photoshoot to get the attention of her ex boyfriend.

And the worst part is, he didn’t even react.

@dieschaklinWorst part is he watched my story and still didn’t reach out ??? ##fyp ##sundayroutine##styleinspo ##dayinmylife ##foryou ##godblessme ##godhelpme♬ Insane – Summer Walker

“Remembering the time I faked my own wedding and had a professional photoshoot so he would reach out,” she captioned the video. “Worst part is he watched my story and still didn’t reach out.”

In the video, she shared a compilation of images from her “big day”, and it looks like she went all out. The whole thing is pretty convincing as she poses in a gorgeous venue wearing a stunning dress and veil – and even snaps some pictures with a horse.

On top of all this, she even went to the effort of including a fake groom in the pictures. She then uploaded the faux photoshoot to her Instagram Story hoping her ex would send her a message.

Viewers could not get over the dedication and took to the comments to share their disbelief.

“No this has to be real, the pictures look too good,” one person said.

“What were you gonna say if he reached out? What was the plan bestie?!” another wrote.

“WHO IS THE GUY?” a third commented.

And it seemed she wasn’t the only one who went to desperate ends to get the attention of an ex.

“I did this and he actually reached out and ‘stopped the wedding’ and he asked me to marry him all it takes is just the right amount of crazy ladies,” one person said.

“My toxic trait is that I see nothing wrong with this,” another admitted.

The video also shows the woman face-palming as she reminisces over the hilarious botched plot. In fairness, she probably could have just texted him.
