If you've dreamed of a career in beauty, this could be just the scholarship you need.

Her

Our friends at leading Irish tanning brand Cocoa Brown have teamed up with one of Ireland’s finest private beauty colleges, The Galligan Beauty College on Grafton St, Co. Dublin to offer one lucky person the opportunity to have their college fees paid in full. This reward is worth a whopping €3,150.

Announcing the bursary, Lorraine and Careena Galligan said: “With over 35 years experience in training Beauty Therapists, we are now delighted to join with one of our successful graduates, Marissa Carter and Cocoa Brown to offer some lucky person a scholarship to enter into this exciting and rewarding profession. If you feel you have what it takes, enter now and we could be welcoming you to the Galligan College of Beauty in September to start your new career.”

Founder and CEO of Cocoa Brown, Marissa Carter added: “My career in beauty began the day that Lorraine and Careena Galligan agreed to let me take their Beauty Specialist Diploma course in the evening while working in the office of their college during the day. I could never have afforded to study beauty otherwise. They gave me a leg up and now we’d like to do the same for someone else. After I qualified, I went on to teach the Beauty Specialist course there and then opened my own beauty salon, Carter Beauty. Less than 18 months ago, I created my own sunless tanning brand, Cocoa Brown which has been successful beyond my wildest dreams but I have never forgotten the generosity shown to me by two wonderful entrepreneurs! I hope that whoever wins the Cocoa Brown Galligan Beauty Scholarship will use it as a launch pad to fulfil their dreams too.”
