It is absolutely roasting in most parts of Ireland today and if you didn't bargain for the heat, there's a simple trick that might help.
Running out of (or forgetting to use) deodorant is a pain in the as* and can be very annoying when the weather gets warm and you didn't exactly prepare for it.
It's always handy to have some in your bag but for those times when you're all out, there's a very handy tip that's all natural.
Ann Lee, of Youtube channel, Anneorshine is a big believer in lemon juice as a natural deodorant and she explains why in the video below.

It also seems that there's actual scientific reasoning behind this theory with dermatology expert, Ellen Marmur explaining that the citric acid contained in lemon juice kills the nasty smell of sweat.
In conversation with Allure, Marmur explained that lemon juice eliminates odour and kills bacteria but it won't help you avoid wet sweat patches (grim, we know).
As lemons are acidic, be extra careful if you have sensitive skin and relying on lemon juice as a deodorant on a regular basis probably isn't the best idea.
Still, it's a very handy quick fix and one which is easily accessible.
