Average face to appear on cover of Vogue has been revealed and it’s oddly familiar

Jade Hayden

… And creepy as f*ck.

Over the years, a lot of people have graced the cover of Vogue.

A lot of them have been supermodels, some of them not-so-supermodels, and more of them just people of note that would make you want to pick up a copy of fashion magazine.

Fairly decent bunch.

And as of late, the lads over at Vogue have been making a conscious effort to include more diversity in their cover photos – and they’ve been doing a decent enough job of it too.

One of the most recent people of note to appear on there was none-other than Beyonce, and she even used a black photographer for her stunning cover shoot – the first time this has ever been the case for the magazine.

A bit of diversity goes a long way, but that doesn’t mean that the average person to appear on the Vogue cover isn’t still extremely white.

Like, almost translucent.

My Voucher Codes have combined the faces of everybody who’s appeared on the cover of Vogue over the past 25 years – and the result is vaguely familiar.

Like, that’s Jennifer Lawrence, right?

The beady eyes? The blurry ears? The non existent teeth? It’s her.

Just kidding – those attributes don’t mean that the photo looks like J-Law… but seriously, just squint a bit and look at it there and tell us that you honestly don’t see her.

Because you do.

The photo combined faces from all Vogue covers since 1993, including those from  US, Russia, France, Japan, Brazil, the UK and Italy.

The individual average faces of the covers by country can be found here too, but honestly, they all look pretty much the same.

White and hazy.

Lovely.
