Basking in the Golden Glow – Cocoa Brown is Top of the Tans

We’ve waxed lyrical on these pages before about Irish tanning brand Cocoa Brown, but it seems like our not-so-secret beauty fix is feeling the love across the pond too!

The range, created by Marissa Carter, has surpassed long-standing top tan St. Tropez on beauty website FeelUnique.com as the top selling bronze in a bottle.

Not only that, but the folks at CB HQ have had to clear some space on the awards shelf too, bagging two gongs at the recent Image magazine Best of Beauty Awards.

Best Tan Innovation went to Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan, €7.99. Judge Liz Dwyer said; “Every girl I know is Cocoa crazy. It’s amazing value, develops in record time, is tinted so application is easy, and it fades off evenly after a few days of deeply bronzed skin.”

Meanwhile Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff, €5.99, took the top spot when it came to body scrubs. Judge Pamela Laird said; “When you need to shift an old tan and scaly skin, this no-frills scrub gets to work, sloughing off dead skin without too much elbow work. Team with exfoliating gloves for double-duty buffing.”

The nods are the latest line of successes for Marissa and the Cocoa Brown team, who recently tanned some Hollywood hides at the official Oscars gifting suite! Late last year Marissa was honored with a Start Up of the Year award, and in the months since a host of well-known women have been sharing their love for CB online, including Vogue Mc Fadden and former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh.
