This bizarre new illuminator has taken highlighting a step too far
It’s happened – we’ve reached peak notions.
Highlighting you vagina is apparently the latest beauty trend that we have to try and we're not OK with it.
The Perfect V has released a line of beauty products for our vulvas. Claiming to ‘highlight’, ‘soften’, ‘illuminate’ and ‘revitalise’ our nether-regions, the products have caused many women on social media to share their disapproval.
Probably there most bizarre product is a vulva highlighter.
Shades of V the Very V Lumizer promises to give a ‘luminous iridescent colour to add some extra prettiness to the V’.
Aside from the fact that the brand repeatedly calls our vulvas “the V”, we find the whole concept of these products quite strange.
“We wax it, sugar it, shave it, pierce it, tattoo it, dye it, monogram it – and sometimes even sunbathe it and after all that we expect it to remain beautiful?” reads the brands website.
“The delicate skin on our face and décolleté receives our attention day and night after far less strenuous treatment, but when it comes to our “V”— forget it. Until now…”
Here are some women who felt the same as we did after hearing about these products.
Just saw an article about a highlighter for your vagina. Can we stop putting shit on our fannies please?

And they’re not cheap either. Setting you back around €37 a bottle, we think we’ll stick to highlighting our face, thanks.
