It’s been a while since we paid tribute to CATRICE on these pages but it’s still one of our all-time favourite budget beauty brands.
The latest trend driven release from the German cosmetics company is Viennart, inspired by “the fascinating glamour of Art Nouveaux”. We know we’re turning into our mothers when we get truly excited about the Special Buys at discount supermarkets, but with bargains like this you could hardly blame us. Granted, caviar nails were a 2012 fad, but we’re still enamoured with the trend and you can create it at home for a song next week with a little help from Aldi. Amongst the beauty buys landing in store next Thursday, November 20th, you’ll find two Beaded Nail Art Sets. One, Rainbow, contains two bright polishes and multicoloured beads. The second, Jewel, includes one dark polish and two bottles of metallic beads. A word to the wise though: keep a bowl or tray underneath when you’re applying – the little beads are only mad for a great escape.
