The face powder to beat all face powders.

If you have oily skin and are familiar with the annoyance that is your makeup slipping off your face halfway through the day, you'll know the importance of a good face powder. The thing is it's very difficult to find one that actually manages to keep the shine at bay and your foundation intact past 3 pm. Believe me, I've been trying for a long time. The search is finally over though because I've finally found the one, the only, the holy grail of powders. It is none other than Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish, a skin-perfecting finish powder that comes in three different shades - fair, medium and dark. It's priced at €42 which isn't the cheapest powder you'll find but considering that this product tackles a number of beauty woes, it's worth the extra spend. The powder prevents excess shine while somehow also brightening your complexion, a winning combination. It blurs fine lines and imperfections while the light-reflecting ingredients allow for the glowing skin we're all after. My bugbear with powder is that most products designed to prevent shine result in a matte finish which does nothing for me. I look wrecked and my skin is dull, the last thing you want after applying a full face of makeup and that's where this one is different. It makes your skin look healthy and radiant while also managing to set makeup and honestly, this is the dream situation. This is my current makeup bag favourite and I don't see the love waning anytime soon...
