Dry Conditioner Might Be About To Change Your Haircare Routine

Anything that saves time sounds good to us!

While we’re big fans of dry shampoo, dry conditioner is something we hadn’t got on board with, until now.

If the experts give it their approval, that’s good enough for us and both celebrity stylist Scotty Cunha and L’Oréal Professionnel celebrity stylist Jennifer MacDougall say dry conditioner is the way forward.

Speaking to Marie Claire, the experts explained why they’re including dry conditioner in their current must-haves.

We can’t promise Jennifer Aniston hair though…

Jennifer said that it can revive the hair while Scotty said that unlike dry shampoo, it’s brilliant for putting moisture back into your tresses.

“Dry conditioner adds shine to ends, separates the strands and revives the hair,”.

“Usually dry conditioner contains oils and are aerosol. They help hydrate and add shine and texture to dry hair without wetting the hair” said Jennifer.

“Dry conditioner is more moisturizing than dry shampoo. It adds shine and helps to revive ends after a few days without washing” added Scotty.

Both stylists agree that dry conditioner is ideal for giving your salon blowdry an extended couple of days before washing.

Ultimate hair goals…

To apply the product, Sarah recommends spraying it on the mid length and ends.

The next step is to “tip your head upside down and mist the dry conditioning spray through the hair” and Sarah also said that using a hairdryer will help “to add texture and distribute the product”.

Plenty of hair care brands, including L’Oréal and TIGI, have introduced dry conditioner so it might be something we’ll have to try.
