This €5 Boots serum keeps selling out after skincare fans claim it ‘beat all the others’

Boots Glow Essence Serum

We’ll take five, pls.

Who doesn’t love Boots? Our go-to pharmacy for so many bits, from self-tan, to hairpins and let’s not forget ALL our holiday essentials.

But what we really have our eye on right now – like so many others – is the Boots Glow Essence Serum – which, if the reviews are anything to go by, is a total cult product – with a totally bargain price tag.

Boots serum is labelled ‘cult buy’

The modestly priced serum, which retails for just €5, keeps selling out both in shops and online, and when you see the rave reviews it is getting, you might want to create an alert on your own phone or laptop – just to make sure you don’t miss it when it is back in stock.

Currently the most highly rated product out of the Boots’ range and claims to ‘energise, hydrate and refresh the skin, we love how this hard-working serum is also both vegan and labelled ‘cruelty-free’ – meaning there has been no testing on animals when this product was developed.

Word started getting out about the serum when shoppers tried it for themselves – and saw an amazing difference in their skin in just days.

Here are just some of the reviews Boots’ Glow Essence Serum has racked up so far:

“I have never cared about my skin as it’s always fairly clear however after borrowing some from my sister then stealing a bottle from my mum I have realised this is 100% perfection and leaves my skin glowing and hydrated and the scent is not aggressive and sweet and fluorescent with a carefully crafted applicator. I think everyone should try it as it’s inexpensive and could potentially leave you with perfect skin- seriously, I have never cared for beauty products or writing reviews but this product truly shook me to my core with lasting clear skin do I just had to post a comment.”

Impressive? We know. And it gets better.

“So I am totally a fan of Soup and glory skincare, but was a bit peeved that the items were out of stock through out a offer, only to be back in stock the day the offer ended. So I tried boots glow range, and am so glad I did. The serum is amazing it’s not sticky ( unlike S.a.g) it goes on smoothly and dries to a nice finish (again unlike SAG). My skin looks lovely with just the serum and moisturizer. I am never going back, it’s wonderful.”

Another happy customer wrote:

“Have been using this once a day for a month now and can see real benefits in my skin. It’s so lightweight, not oily at all, it’s very hydrating and smells gorgeous. I’ve noticed it helps with any dry areas and spots. It has also brightened and plumped my skin, making it look a lot fresher.”

And last, but not least:

“Bought this after numerous other serum this is one of the best its helped my skin glow.”

If you are tempted to try this serum out for yourself, all you have to do is massage two to three drops onto cleansed skin before your daily moisturiser (or night cream), to leave skin looking brighter and feeling hydrated.

It also contains niacinamide, a form of vitamin B, which helps to plump the skin and has a mild, refreshing watermelon scent.
