People online are in awe of a new “magic scrub” exfoliator that appears to be removing people’s fake tan within one minute.

The exfoliator is going viral on social media with claims it instantly gets rid of old tan, or even fresh tan that we simply want to be fresher.

As the sun is finally starting to appear, we’re all bound to start relying on our bottles of bronzer to give us a glow that we have been deprived from naturally so far this year, but we don’t need to look like streaky bacon after a few days.

As any tan user knows, it can take weeks for every inch of fake tan to come off naturally and keeping your tan topped up week upon week can leave it looking all kinds of blotchy.

If the reviews are anything to go by, Rose and Caramel’s Purity Excel 60 second tan remover could be the answer to all our problems when it comes to this.

The product has been described as a blend of key self tan removal ingredients, natural pearlite and rejuvenating salts.

Coming in at around €25 a tub, the product is apparently worth every cent, with many claiming it is “surprisingly big”.

Newfound fans of the brand have taken to social media, TikTok in particular, to share their joy of the new product, with the majority of the reviews saying they’re “obsessed”.

One person wrote: “Ok this is the best tan remover I’ve ever come across… I’m obsessed.”

Another said: “As someone who uses ultra dark fake tan and never found a tan remover that works, I was sceptical. This stuff is amazing! The tan wipes off my body in a few swipes after only 3/4 days, what more could I ask for? It also smells unreal!”

A third added: “I’ve had disappointing results with tan remover in the past (and this was from the well-known market leader) but this stuff actually works! I made the mistake of not leaving it on long enough first time, but on the following attempt I left the granular, jelly-like gunk on for a few minutes (it recommends three) and the false tan came off relatively easily with an exfoliating mit. It still takes a bit of work mind, but a lot easier and more effective than the other brand I’ve used. It’s mildly scented and pleasant to use.”
