Fenty Skin: Everything you need to know about Rihanna’s new skincare line

Jade Hayden

She’s here and she’s perfect.

Well, she’s not quite here yet – but she’s almost here and that’s good enough for us.

For years now, we’ve been engaged in the “When will Rihanna release some new music, please?” narrative, but truthfully, the singer-come-beauty-guru has very much been killing it in the makeup game, so we might as well leave her to it.

Rumours surrounding the possibility of a Fenty Skin line have been swirling for a considerable amount of time – and now finally, we’ve not only got confirmation… we’ve got a released date.

So, in order to get yourself significantly pumped for the greatest skincare drop of the century (probably), here’s everything we know so far about Rihanna’s latest beauty venture: Fenty Skin.

What is Fenty Skin?

Described as “the new culture of skincare”, Fenty Skin is, well, the new culture of skincare.

Rihanna first trademarked the name in March of last year, giving fans a taste of what was to come in the new line.

Fenty Skin was trademarked as “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators.”

Since then, not a lot else has been released about the line. Until, that is, this week when Rihanna finally announced that the new skincare collection is, indeed, coming.

Fenty Skin’s Instagram account has already amassed an impressive 100k followers (at the time of writing), despite only having one post: a video depicting Rihanna applying a trio of products to her face.

Good enough or us, tbh. And the 100k followers.

What products are included in the line?

Okay so right now, nobody knows. There’s no doubt that Rihanna is going to be keeping these particular details close to her chest until the release date creeps up, but the teaser video does tell us a few things.

1. There will be a moisturiser

2. There will be a cleanser

3.  There will be some sort of eye cream

And that’s pretty much all we know at the moment… But if past Fenty lines are anything to go on, we can expect a comprehensive line of products that are diverse, reasonably priced, and suitable for any and all skin tones.

When is Fenty Skin released?

Fenty Skin goes live on July 31, a mere 16 days away.

But if you fancied yourself a chance to shop early on July 29, you can drop Ri an email through the link in her Instagram bio here.
