If there's one giveaway that you scrambled out of bed with five minutes to go, it's tide marks. Particularly along your jawline.
Another common fail is forgetting to extend your makeup along your neck and chest, to the neckline of your top. You don't have to trawl on the foundation either, a light dusting of bronzer looks more natural and takes the pasty edge off.
Brow love
Brows frame your face and the perfect shape can alter your look completely.

To give the illusion of bigger eyes, extend the eyebrows (only slightly mind) using this nifty pencil.
Find a mascara you can't manage without
Mascara is absolutely essential.
It opens your eyes instantly and defines them so you instantly look more awake, even before the coffee kicks in.
We're currently obsessed with Urban Decay's Perversion Mascara (€23). It lengthens and volumises and you can apply a couple of extra coats without the dreaded 'clumpy' effect.
Always remember concealer
Much like mascara, this is one step you can't forego in the mornings.
Even if you don't have time to apply a full base, applying concealer under the eyes, around the nose and over any imperfections, will camouflage any problem areas.

Have one emergency product in your handbag
